13: Week 13

Hello Reader. I apologize for not posting last weekend, I had finals week and I was focused on getting them done. I hope your week was good. I hope your Christmas was good, if you celebrate. If not, I hope your day was good. Here’s more of my writing even though no one asked for it. Also, if anyone has any constructive criticism for my writing from two weeks ago, I’ll take it.       A polished oak door opened, letting in two people to the penthouse. The first person, a man, sighed because he knew the dinner party tonight was an utter failure, no thanks to the woman, behind him. He wandered off into the kitchen for a glass of whiskey after dropping his outer coat on the nice thick carpet, then moved into his study. He desperately needed it after the mess she’d made. And to think, she did it right in front of important people! The kind of people who would affect his business and his career. And he knew others would most definitely talk to the...

12: Week 12

Salve dear Reader. I hope everything is well for you and your loved ones. Nothing exciting really happened for me this week, besides focusing on getting all of my work turned in so this semester can end. I love my classes so I’m kind of bummed out this semester is ending but at the same time, I’m excited for my new ones. The only sound was from the mouse, no one else in the building. Atticus was the only one left in the dentist’s office, staying for after hours until closing time. It was only his second time but he didn’t necessarily mind staying back. After all, he wasn’t going to do anything beside...

11: Week 11

Hello dear Reader. I hope you are doing well and that everyone you care about is safe and healthy. Instead of writing about my week as usual, I want to focus on mental health today. Mental health is very important and you should remember to take care of yourselves. My psychology teacher likes to say, “If we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?” Shoutout to her, she’s cool. Plus she likes The Lord of The Rings.       If you aren’t feeling well mentally, take a break. Get some rest, go outside in your back or front yard. If you live in an apartment but have a balcony, go on your balcony. Drink some water. It doesn’t have to be a lot but at least one cup will be good. Get some sleep if you need it. Yes getting your work done it good but it’s better to take a break now rather than get everything done while feeling horrible. Do some exercise, it doesn’t have to be anything heavy either. It can be yoga or just stretching. Eat some fruit and ve...
