5: Journaling is also Therapeutic

I’m sure you've heard of journaling or bullet journaling by now, dear Reader. If not, it’s basically using a journal to organize different things. You can organize what you want, and each person organizes/sets up theirs differently. Some people make a mood tracker for the month, others make a list of books or movies they want to watch. Again, it completely depends on the person.       You could check other blogs who journal more often than I do, for some tips and ideas, if you're going to start. Also., maybe don't journal everyday; I'd suggest every few days or so, maybe twice or three times a week. Since it's yours, organize it how you want. It's yours to create so add whatever you want to, and design/decorate it however you want to. No one can tell what you do is wrong or right. No one asked for this, but here are the materials I use: Mildliners  Bic Marker/Brush Pens Mechanical pencil Eraser Sketchbook  Ruler An artist pen to o...

4: Organization Keeps Everyone Sane

It’s that time of year when students are stressed, and everything is a mess: midterms. I just had mine (math, chemistry, psychology, and history) and I’m not sure for others, but we didn’t necessarily have tests. For math we had to do a presentation on a unit and topic we were assigned; for chemistry we had to make a slideshow for our favorite food and research a chemical compound in that food. We had to make a distress tolerance box for psychology and we analyzed documents and answered questions for history. Not too bad, in retrospect.       But trying to stay organized when you're stressed is difficult. Papers are everywhere, students are probably jacked up on caffeine from late night studying, anxiety is going haywire over, “What was my score?” “Did I pass?” “Did this bring my grade down?” so on and so forth. Take a deep breath and try to calm down. There’s always the next test and I know you did your best, dear Reader (if you are a student)....

3: Music is a Great Thing and so are Playlists But I Have Way Too Many

Everyone loves music. Everyone listens to it when they’re cleaning, cooking, journaling, painting, exercising or whatever it is people do. I personally almost constantly have music playing since it turns out I like having background noise. Obviously I don’t have it on when I’m doing school or homework but I mean, when doing whatever (i.e. cleaning, journaling) it’s on.      Does anyone else have the problem of having way too many playlists though? I follow playlists - I use Spotify - and I made some for different moods and vibes. I have a journaling playlist, a soft playlist, a Halloween and fall playlist (two separate ones), a kpop playlist, an anime ost playlist, a gaming playlist - like, I’m not even a gamer, I just made it for when I play Minecraft. What’s up with that? Literally nothing though, since I just like music. Fun times, let me tell you, when I’m mining or killing a mob and a song is playing. It’s a range from Minecraft parody song...

2: Spooky Season is Here, and Apple Cider is Really Good

It is now October and you know what that means: Halloween, spooky season, ghosts, pumpkins, hot chocolate, apple cider, scary movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas, skeletons, and a plethora of other spooky things. And don’t forget the scents. Lotions, body washes, soaps, candles, etc. I got a sweet cinnamon pumpkin lotion from Bath and Body Works - 10/10 - last fall and it’s amazing.       I love layering. I love layering my black turtleneck, different shirts, tights with shorts, skirts, or jeans, layering shirts or sweaters with dresses; even jewelry. Fall is literally the perfect time for that but nope not this year. Actually it doesn’t even get that cold until around November in general. I went out yesterday in green cargo pants, my turtleneck, a YUNGBLUD shirt on top of that, combat boots, and my mask and it was hot when my mom and I were done shopping. And it’s hot at night too. After I’m done with my skincare stuff and putting on my...
