I’m sure you've heard of journaling or bullet journaling by now, dear Reader. If not, it’s basically using a journal to organize different things. You can organize what you want, and each person organizes/sets up theirs differently. Some people make a mood tracker for the month, others make a list of books or movies they want to watch. Again, it completely depends on the person.
You could check other blogs who journal more often than I do, for some tips and ideas, if you're going to start. Also., maybe don't journal everyday; I'd suggest every few days or so, maybe twice or three times a week. Since it's yours, organize it how you want. It's yours to create so add whatever you want to, and design/decorate it however you want to. No one can tell what you do is wrong or right. No one asked for this, but here are the materials I use:
Mildliners
Bic Marker/Brush Pens
Mechanical pencil
Eraser
Sketchbook
Ruler
An artist pen to outline everything
Paper (not all the time but I used it for a short while)
And that’s it.
For the journal, you can buy a dotted or gritted journal from Amazon or wherever but I had an extra sketchbook so why not use it, right? If there are any anime fans reading, I’ve seen people making anime journals. I don’t have one but I’ve seen ideas for them and they look really cool.
I like to journal outside in my courtyard to get some fresh air and to get some sun as well. But since it’s nearing November it’s more cold, since it’s closer to winter and all that jazz, and I cannot stand the cold. I prefer warm weather but I also do love layering, as mentioned in another post, but I would rather stay inside now. But you can journal wherever feels most comfortable to you, whether that’s on a desk, outside, in your living room with something playing on the TV. It’s all up to you.
Anyways, I hope you start journaling if it sounds interesting to you. I wish you all the best for getting through this week. Remember to take care of yourself and take a break when you need one.
Until next time dear Reader.
Signing off,
Mother and Eliot
