16: Week 16

Hello dear Reader, I hope your week was good, that you and your loved ones are staying safe. Drink some water if you haven’t already, don’t forget to eat, and take your medication if necessary.      What have y’all been up to lately? I haven’t been up to much. I cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed, made a charcuterie board with Korean fire carbonara noodles, iced tea, some strawberry Pocky sticks, and milk chocolate macadamia nuts yesterday. I’ve been working on an assignment for my creative writing class so I finished that. I did make a monthly savings page in my journal last night so I know what I have at the end of each month.       Mother said she would make a crochet froggy hat so I’m waiting until tomorrow when we go to Walmart. It’s not just for the green yarn and whatnot, we need other stuff and I need more essential oils since I’ve used up all the ones I own. I might get lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, peppermint, and I’m not sur...

15: Week 15

Hello dear Reader, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Also, there are spoilers for the ending of season of The Magicians! Just a heads up in case you’re watching it or plan on it.       So how was everyone’s week? Mine was okay, nothing was different. Mother and I started Demon Slayer today, which is really good so far. I remember watching the first season a few years ago and having to wait for December because Netflix added the new season in December. I was so heartbroken when Q died; watching the group sing Take On Me for him was devastating. My parents watched it last year in the summer and I just rewatched it with them.      Mother has been watching quite a few cooking shows lately and I’ve been rewatching RuPaul’s Drag Race seas...

14: Week 14

Hello dear Reader, I apologize for not posting lately. I lost all sense of time during winter break, then we started the new semester and I’ve been busy with my assignments.       I hope this month has been better for you than last year. That was just a mess, but so far, this year seems to be at least a little bit better. In any case, let’s hope we get the vaccine soon and are able to end quarantine. Until then, keep social distancing, wearing your mask if/when you go outside, and washing your hands.       What has everyone been up to? How was your New Years celebration? Mine was good. We live in one of those houses with an apartment connected to it, which is where my grandpa lives, and he came downstairs for dinner. We had hot pot for dinner and it was really good. Mother made the broth in our instant pot and we just added noodles, meat, vegetables and consumable things to the broth. I found that I really like lamb, eve...
