15: Week 15

Hello dear Reader, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Also, there are spoilers for the ending of season of The Magicians! Just a heads up in case you’re watching it or plan on it.

So how was everyone’s week? Mine was okay, nothing was different. Mother and I started Demon Slayer today, which is really good so far. Nothing else has been happening lately.

I started watching the last season of The Magicians and I have to finish the last episode but I don’t want it to end. I remember watching the first season a few years ago and having to wait for December because Netflix added the new season in December. I was so heartbroken when Q died; watching the group sing Take On Me for him was devastating. My parents watched it last year in the summer and I just rewatched it with them.

Mother has been watching quite a few cooking shows lately and I’ve been rewatching RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10. She says I’ve been watching it “too much” but there’s no such thing as “too much” Drag Race.

Anyways, I’m just glad I don’t have to take math anymore. At my school, we’re required to take three math classes so I don’t have to take one next year. I like my classes this semester; my teachers are nice too.

Also, does anyone know how to make earrings? Mother and I plan on making some but we’ve never done it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I also asked her to make me a crochet froggy hat based off another one I saw on Instagram, so I’m looking forward to that. I see a lot of frog stuff on my Instagram explore page, which is always nice.

Alright, I’m going to go on Pinterest now and have some jalapeno chips in a bit.

    Until next time dear reader.

Signing off,

Mother and Eliot

20: Week 20

Hello dear Reader, yes I realize I didn’t post last week. I’ll try to do it next Sunday, but we’ll see when I actually write it. I apologize again.       Make sure you drink enough water, that you eat three meals today, and that you take your vitamins or medication(s) if necessary. I hope your day is good and relaxing. I’m just going to add in a poem today; I’ll probably write something else next weekend. Anyways, enjoy the poem! And if you have any constructive criticism for me, I’ll gladly take it; any chance to improve my writing. Also, please tell me if my dialogue seems “robotic” or something; I think I need to work on it.        “Sterling! Now!”       Sterling was in the middle of a battle, his friends on either side of him about to be demolished by his enemies. Of course, they weren’t expecting an ambush. They had just fought a few days ago and left the enemies with severe injuries. They shouldn’...

8: No One Asked for this But Here You Go Anyways (Recommendations, part two)

Hello dear Reader. Yes, again, recommendations. But this time, it’s for my fellow bibliophiles. So here is a list of books I highly recommend. 21: Week 21

Hello dear Reader, I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts. I didn’t post around the end of May due to my finals and wanting to focus on school and on keeping my grades up. I may have lost track of time ever since summer started but I’m back to posting weekly. I hope everyone’s summer has been good so far. Make sure to wear your mask if you aren’t vaccinated and if you’re in a public area where it’s required. What has everyone been doing so far? I haven’t done much. One of my best friends and I had our first sleepover; a friend came over on Friday so we went swimming; I’ve been world building for a new story - more on that later - and Mother and I are going thrifting on Tuesday. I also planted some new plants for myself. Not to mention dance stuff is going on, so there’s that.  Now, on to my new story. In the spring semester of this school year, I had creative writing. During the class, we had workshops, where we would write a short story - around four pages - and read it out l...
