6: No One asked for this But Here You Go Anyways (Recommendations)

    Ever since quarantine started, everyone’s been watching a plethora of movies and shows. So here’s a list of some movies, shows, and anime I recommend. Even though we’re still in the fall semester. Please do your homework and everything first before you watch something. I think this goes without saying but no spoilers for anyone. Spoilers ruin everything and make it not fun. 

    Movies:

  •  The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 

  • Beetlejuice

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas 

  • Enola Holmes 


TV Shows:

  • The Magicians (didn’t watch over quarantine but it’s my favorite tv show)

  • Once Upon A Time 

  • The Queen’s Gambit (currently watching this w/ Mother)

  • Next In Fashion 

  • American Horror Story

  • RuPaul’s Drag Race 


Anime:

  • I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (similar to YLIA so have some tissues ready)

  • Bungou Stray Dogs 

  • Parasyte: The Maxim (very underrated sadly; the opening slaps)

  • Death Note

  • Given (Mafuyu is my son and I love him)

  • Your Lie in April

  • Hunter x Hunter (I’m still not over it-)

  • Akame ga Kill! 

  • Darling In The FRANXX 

  • Banana Fish (I last watched episode 9 and I’m so hurt)

  • Ouran High School Host Club (we’re still waiting for season two)

  • Yuri!!! On Ice

  • Black Butler 

    

    And that’s it. I watch more anime than I do tv shows and movies combined, so that’s why there’s a small list for movies. The anime list is just stuff I saw, either a while ago or watched this year. Side note, if you are not a fan of blood, gore, etc. do not watch Akame ga Kill! It can get to be very bloody from time to time and there’s a lot of death, from side characters to your favorites. You might not want to get attached to anyone. It’s very similar to Attack on Titan, with a lot of characters dying. Speaking of, season four comes out next month I believe. I haven’t seen season two or three yet so I can’t watch it but hopefully I can start it over a break or something.
