22: Week 22

Hello dear Reader, I hope you’re in good health and that all is well with you and your loved ones. Make sure to drink water, take your med(s) if necessary, and to go outside at least for an hour for some sunlight. Take some time off for yourself. Do something you love.

I didn’t post last weekend because I had my dance recital and was busy that day. It went great! We had it at the same place we had it last year, but the location was different from what it normally would be. It’s usually at a high school theater - because the theater is really big - but due to the virus, my dance studio had to change it. It was okay though; at least I got to be on stage again. I had my second dress rehearsal on Wednesday for my dance recital, which was fun. I love being on stage and I love performing.

How were everyone’s weeks? Mine was okay. Mother and I went thrifting on Tuesday, June 22, which was fun. I got two new pairs of pants, a skirt, a pastel yellow button up shirt, and something else that I don’t remember. Mother got a button up shirt and three new blazers. Also, Ricky Montgomery’s new song? I love it so much, it’s very swag. It’s really good.

Does anyone watch/listen to Clem Turner? If not, you should! He’s a YouTuber who covers songs and he sings wonderfully. He recently covered Mx. Sinister from I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, which was amazing. He also sang a cover of Oh Ana from Mother Mother and Jumpsuit from Twenty One Pilots and combined them together - it was the lyrics from Oh Ana and the music from Jumpsuit.

I got sick on Tuesday after my recital, so I’ve just been resting a lot, taking my medicine after I eat, and drinking a lot of tea with honey. I had a bit of a fever but luckily it went away. I should be fine soon, I’m feeling a lot better than when I first got sick.

Anyways, I hope I get to go out soon. I really want to do fun things since I got back to school soon. I’ll have to ask if any of my friends want to hang out when I’m not sick.

Alright, since it’s the Fourth of July, I’ll make this one a bit short. I assume you all have plans to do something. Have fun today and be safe.

    Until next time dear Reader.

Signing off,

Mother and Eliot

20: Week 20

Hello dear Reader, yes I realize I didn’t post last week. I’ll try to do it next Sunday, but we’ll see when I actually write it. I apologize again.       Make sure you drink enough water, that you eat three meals today, and that you take your vitamins or medication(s) if necessary. I hope your day is good and relaxing. I’m just going to add in a poem today; I’ll probably write something else next weekend. Anyways, enjoy the poem! And if you have any constructive criticism for me, I’ll gladly take it; any chance to improve my writing. Also, please tell me if my dialogue seems “robotic” or something; I think I need to work on it.        “Sterling! Now!”       Sterling was in the middle of a battle, his friends on either side of him about to be demolished by his enemies. Of course, they weren’t expecting an ambush. They had just fought a few days ago and left the enemies with severe injuries. They shouldn’...

8: No One Asked for this But Here You Go Anyways (Recommendations, part two)

Hello dear Reader. Yes, again, recommendations. But this time, it’s for my fellow bibliophiles. So here is a list of books I highly recommend. 21: Week 21

Hello dear Reader, I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts. I didn’t post around the end of May due to my finals and wanting to focus on school and on keeping my grades up. I may have lost track of time ever since summer started but I’m back to posting weekly. I hope everyone’s summer has been good so far. Make sure to wear your mask if you aren’t vaccinated and if you’re in a public area where it’s required. What has everyone been doing so far? I haven’t done much. One of my best friends and I had our first sleepover; a friend came over on Friday so we went swimming; I’ve been world building for a new story - more on that later - and Mother and I are going thrifting on Tuesday. I also planted some new plants for myself. Not to mention dance stuff is going on, so there’s that.  Now, on to my new story. In the spring semester of this school year, I had creative writing. During the class, we had workshops, where we would write a short story - around four pages - and read it out l...
