24: Week 24

Hello Dear Reader, I sincerely apologize for not posting for a few weeks. Mother and I’ve been busy with many many things; we haven’t had the time to sit down. I hope your weeks have been wonderful. Remember to drink water, to take your medication(s) if necessary, get some sunlight at least for a few minutes. Or maybe open a window if possible, considering all the smoke might be bad.       Like I said, we’ve been busy. We have Mother’s side of the family coming to visit on Wednesday the 11th, so I’ve been helping her clean the house for them. I have to clean my room as well, not to mention getting ready for school. I already have most of my materials needed, I recently got a few more notebooks. So we’ve been dealing with that. I still need a place to put my belts cause I used to hang them on the end of my clothing rack but I moved something else on there; they’re just on the floor right now, but out of the way.       I signed up for an AP class for school and we had to read The

23: Week 23

Hello dear Reader, I hope you’re in good health and that everything is perfectly fine with you and your loved ones. I hope you got the time to breathe and to relax, to do something you love this past week. Make sure you drink some water, especially since there are heatwaves and take your medication(s) if necessary.       I haven’t been doing anything. I don’t want to go out, considering the heatwaves. The other day I thought about going to the park and world building for a story I’m going to write and then remembered it’d be too hot for that. I’m even going to water my plants inside instead of taking them out, just because it’s too hot out. Mother says she’s going to barbeque some chicken out earlier rather than at 3 cause you know, the heat. I’m just waiting for this to be over. Apparently it’s supposed to be around 99 - or 37 if you use celsius - where I live, which isn’t too bad. At least it’s not triple digit. That’s great because I actually have plans tomorrow.      I found

22: Week 22

Hello dear Reader, I hope you’re in good health and that all is well with you and your loved ones. Make sure to drink water, take your med(s) if necessary, and to go outside at least for an hour for some sunlight. Take some time off for yourself. Do something you love.       I didn’t post last weekend because I had my dance recital and was busy that day. It went great! We had it at the same place we had it last year, but the location was different from what it normally would be. It’s usually at a high school theater - because the theater is really big - but due to the virus, my dance studio had to change it. It was okay though; at least I got to be on stage again. I had my second dress rehearsal on Wednesday for my dance recital, which was fun. I love being on stage and I love performing.      How were everyone’s weeks? Mine was okay. Mother and I went thrifting on Tuesday, June 22, which was fun. I got two new pairs of pants, a skirt, a pastel yellow button up shirt, and someth

21: Week 21

Hello dear Reader, I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts. I didn’t post around the end of May due to my finals and wanting to focus on school and on keeping my grades up. I may have lost track of time ever since summer started but I’m back to posting weekly. I hope everyone’s summer has been good so far. Make sure to wear your mask if you aren’t vaccinated and if you’re in a public area where it’s required. What has everyone been doing so far? I haven’t done much. One of my best friends and I had our first sleepover; a friend came over on Friday so we went swimming; I’ve been world building for a new story - more on that later - and Mother and I are going thrifting on Tuesday. I also planted some new plants for myself. Not to mention dance stuff is going on, so there’s that.  Now, on to my new story. In the spring semester of this school year, I had creative writing. During the class, we had workshops, where we would write a short story - around four pages - and read it out loud

20: Week 20

Hello dear Reader, yes I realize I didn’t post last week. I’ll try to do it next Sunday, but we’ll see when I actually write it. I apologize again.       Make sure you drink enough water, that you eat three meals today, and that you take your vitamins or medication(s) if necessary. I hope your day is good and relaxing. I’m just going to add in a poem today; I’ll probably write something else next weekend. Anyways, enjoy the poem! And if you have any constructive criticism for me, I’ll gladly take it; any chance to improve my writing. Also, please tell me if my dialogue seems “robotic” or something; I think I need to work on it.        “Sterling! Now!”       Sterling was in the middle of a battle, his friends on either side of him about to be demolished by his enemies. Of course, they weren’t expecting an ambush. They had just fought a few days ago and left the enemies with severe injuries. They shouldn’t have healed so quickly. Maybe they had an Ace , he thought. Though very nearl

19: Week 19

Hello dear Reader, I apologize for not posting a month ago or so. I didn’t post the week of midterms because I was busy and didn’t have time to write something. And I may have just forgotten to write a new post, but I’ll try my best to keep up with posting.       Anyways, Mother and I are watching Banana Fish. Well, I’m rewatching it technically but I’m going to leave the room when we watch the last episode because I don’t want to watch it again. We’re really close to it too, we’re past episode 21 I believe. We also tried watching It’s Okay to Not be Okay but we couldn’t get into it. It’s not the story, it’s the fact that we were used to more fast paced kdramas and that one is slow (for us anyway). I’ve been watching Goblin Slayer, which is really good except for certain parts of it. Apparently season two is coming out this year, so I’m looking forward to that.       I also got the first two volumes of No. 6 yesterday, which is interesting so far. I really like the storyline. Al

18: Week 18

Hello dear Reader. I hope your week was good and that you got some rest. Don’t forget to drink water, eat food, and take your meds if you have any.       What did everyone do this weekend? We didn’t do much besides clean. I procrastinated a bit by going on Reels and Instagram but I did clean my room and bathroom. I’ve been wanting to rearrange my room for a while but I don’t know what I want to do.       In other news, I found my dream bookshelf. It’s the Billy bookshelf in white from Ikea. Mother says I can put it where my dresser is currently and then move everything else on that wall over but we’ll see if it fits. I had a friend do the math for me and apparently it’s a foot and a half or so taller than me (for reference I’m five foot one). It costs $98 though, so I’m saving up for it. I also already know how I’m going to decorate it. The books will be organized by genre in height descending order. I’ll add lights around the side of it, as well as some plants. If there’s extra
